Stop reading blogs about blogging

000215_3769_1046_oslp Stop reading blogs about blogging.

Why?

The more you read blogs about blogging, the less time you have left to actually write a blog post.

Why?

1. You begin to follow links, then follow again, until you end up in a black hole of massive information.

2. You follow an affiliate link to another ebook or internet marketing guide, then read a mile-long salesletter, then before you know it, you buy and spend. You later find out the internet marketing guide is just a compilation of free information gathered on the web, and some more affiliate links.

3. You read comments, then follow the links to the commenters’ site. Again, you begin the cycle of following links, signing up to another affiliate program, following links on the commenter’s blogs… ad nauseum.

At the end of this vicious chain, you realize that you gained nothing but satisfy your curiosity and get a massive amount of confusing information — and a significant amount of lost time.

Don’t get chained to the blogging chain!

So stop reading blogs about blogging, clear your mind and START writing now!

That was what I found out recently too! :) Plus, most blogs about blogging share almost similar tips and tricks and it’s really like reading them many times over, just in different sentences and phrases.

In the end you may have bookmarked a dozen similar blogs AND no time to write a post, LOL.

    hi pelf!

Did you know that you just read a blog about blogging? LOL

I visited your site and loved your theme. Give me more time to browse through your posts. In the meantime, I have to write a blog post first.
