Notice that in this format (Standard), an ad is displayed at the top of the player, and also at the bottom. Also note the left and right button arrows at the bottom ads. They allow site visitors to browse through the ads!

Features of Google Video Units:

Relevant, Premium Content - Deliver high quality video content to your site. Choose categories, individual content providers, or have Google target your site’s content.

Targeted, Non-Intrusive Ads - Earn revenue from relevant, user-friendly ads targeted to your site and to the videos being played.

Enhanced User Experience - Attract and retain users with highly relevant, frequently refreshed video from popular content providers.

Customizable Players - Customize the color theme and layout of the player to best fit your site.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. After creating your Player, you cannot change its layout when editing it.

2. You don’t have to change the embed code even after editing the player. (You will only need to generate embed code for this player once. Any future edits you make will update the player automatically once they’re saved.)

3. Embedding the video player in a Wordpress blog post does not show the video, but the link (”Watch the latest videos on YouTube.com”). This is because the embed code of a Google Adsense-enabled YouTube player is javascript, which is not allowed in posts. To use the javascript within the blog post, see Using Javascript in Wordpress.
