Then chances are, you do it by using your long affiliate URLs which also displays your affiliate information like your affiliate ID, for such programs as Clickbank, Commission Junction, and other pay-per-action programs that track your referrals by a unique ID in the URL.

The PatchLog blog has announced the release of an updated version (version 2.00) of the Hidden Affiliate Links plugin for WordPress.

What is does is it allows you to define keywords and it will replace those keywords (when you save/update a post) with a new link you can specify.

PatchLog released the updated version just days after a plugin called WP Affiliate Pro was sold on DealDotCom, the new affiliate program now being promoted like crazy in the internet marketing world. On that note, PatchLog says:

John Chow bought a plugin for wordpress that does something like that from DealDotCo (yes it’s an afiliate link and it was created automatically ) but I know it wouldn’t be that hard to add such a functionality to my plugin.

The Free Hide Affiliate Links plugin can be downloaded from PatchLog (click here). On a sidenote, Anthony Jude Lawrence says of the WP Affiliate Pro: “I do not deny that it is indeed a GREAT plugin. Would I pay $49 bucks for it though? Nope. Why should I when I could get a similar plugin which does pretty much the same thing for absolutely FREE?!”
